Our lab investigates Plant Bioacoustics, open questions in the Theory of Evolution and in other fields in biology. We focus on:

• Plant bioacoustics

• Genetic variation, particularly under stress, including mutation, sex and dispersal

• Social behavior and cooperation

• Host-microbiome interactions

• Epigenetic inheritance

• Plant-pollinator dynamics

• Evolution of senescence

 

We study these questions and their implications for evolution and adaptation, using a diverse array of mathematical modeling approaches, computational methods, and experiments.
